you can feel the pounding, wrapped around your chest, nothing's too excessive, when you've got nothing left

Takotas smokey black fur became more visible through the strains of green grass as he matted down the grass, swatting clumps at a time to the ground with soft thumps. He turned in a few circles, softening the makeshift nest, and sat down, wrapping his stringy black tail over his paws.
His black eyes looked to the sun, which was rising over the mountains in the north. The orange glow of his eyes matched the young suns radiance. Light flooded the valley, rays of it piercing at the black wolf. He let out a sigh, and relaxed the scowling muscles of his face.
This was the most peaceful time of the day. He made sure to wake up before the rest of the pack, before hell broke loose and wolves insisted on his presence and guidance. He let out a huff. His rank didnt give him superior wisdom for their problems. But they didnt have to know that.
NOTES;; open to everyone WORD COUNT;; 150 MOOD;; relaxed
